Each downtown is unique, and Beaumont's is no exception. With many large structures, Beaumont Main Street has a major task in working to ensure that the historic integrity of each structure is preserved while allowing for contemporary usage.

Formerly Beaumont City Hall & Auditorium, "The Julie" is Beaumont's premier performing arts venue.

The San Jacinto Life Building is one of Beaumont's tallest. Designed by Sanguinet & Staats of Fort Worth, the structure sports a large clock tower, with some of the largest clock dials in the nation.

Built in 1925 as the American National Bank.

Main Street worked with the Texas Historical Commission in restoring this building owned by private owners.

One of the greatest examples of Art Deco in Texas. Step inside and you will be in awe of the craftsmanship of the building. No expense was spared when it was built in 1930.

The Jefferson County Courthouse is an incredible example of decorative Art Deco. Fans of this eclectic style should take note of this building.

A prime example of WPA architecture.

The "Goodhue" has a beautiful lobby, and the exterior has a unique neo-gothic look.

Built in 1933, Kyle Block is an excellent example of Zig-Zag Art Deco.

Restored and owned by Brent Coon and Associates.

Formerly First Baptist Church, this building has been a library since the early 1920's. It has been loving restored and the original stained glass is in tact.

Built in 1927, the theatre has survived as Beaumont's only remaining movie palace. It is a palace indeed.

"The Jeff" is one of Beaumont's most successful examples of historic preservation.

The auditorium seats 1,500 people.

The grand chandelier of the auditorium is the focal piece of the space.

The Robert-Morton Organ of the Jefferson is one of the few remaining in the world, and only one a handful that remain in their original installation. Delighting audiences for decades, this organ is a gem, and Beaumont is proud to have it here.

Built in 1922, the Hotel Beaumont is the city's last unaltered historic hotel. A restoration effort was spearheaded by Beaumont Main Street in 2002.
